Personal Development

At Harris Beckenham Sixth Form, we don’t just focus on academic success – we’re here to help you grow into confident, informed, and independent young people.

Sixth Form is about more than just lessons; it’s about developing the skills, mindset, understanding and experiences that will set you up for the future.

Tutor time – stay organised and get involved

Your tutor time isn’t just about admin – it’s designed to help you stay on top of your workload. You’ll learn how to plan your time, set priorities, and create task lists to keep yourself organised, as well as learning different ways to revise and make the most of your study periods!

You'll also have weekly sessions on Wellbeing Wednesday and Healthy Harris which cover topics from sexual health, peer pressure, anxiety and mental health, as well as gaslighting, deep fakes and coercion.

We’ll help you explore the big questions of modern life, helping you develop the knowledge and skills to navigate challenges and opportunities in the world around you.
